Fob / Access Card Request
The Piano Factory employs an Access Control System with sensors located on both of the main gates on 46th Street and the South Building door to 45th Street. Access to the building will be granted to individuals that possess fobs or cards that have been programmed to work with the system,
All resident shareholders and tenants are provided with key fobs by the Piano Factory board.
Shareholders can request additional key fobs for members of their family and guests. Shareholder employees and contractors can be provided with wallet-sized access cards that can be visibly differentiated with ease as holders access the building.
Shareholders are expected to report the loss of fobs or access cards to The Piano Factory board immediatly so that the Access Control System can be instructed to prevent them from being used to enter the building.
Fobs and cards should only be used by the individual that they were assigned to. In the even of loss, the board needs to know which credential should be disabled. If a card or fob is found, the phone/email information associated with the credential will be used to contact the holder.
Contractors working in shareholder apartments can borrow temporary door passes from the building’s superintendent for a deposit of $10. The pass will enable contractors to gain access to the building during normal working hours. Deposits will be refunded when contractors return their access cards.
The Piano Factory may charge a fee of $5 for additional or replacement key fobs and access cards.
